Kevin Hodges

I'm a U.S history teacher and I'm so glad I have the privilege to teach my students about the civil rights movement. Whether it be in high school or middle school. I'm able to share the great change this movement did for this country. I've also taught in Colombia South America for four years and I was able to teach students in that country about the movement and not only about the struggles of the movement but in addition the many positive changes that came out of it. So the story of the movement hasn't been secluded to only the U.S. but there are many students in other countries learning about this important time period in our nations history.
