Continuing the Dream

Marc Morial, president and CEO of the National Urban League, reflects on the civil rights movement and Martin Luther King Jr.'s vision. Morial's father was the first African-American to serve as Mayor of New Orleans in 1977. Seventeen years later, Marc followed in his footsteps. He reflects on the importance of carrying on King's vision: "We must continue the dream [...] and continue to work to achieve the dream."
