Comcast Newsmakers and Voices of the Civil Rights Movement present the special panel discussion “Equality, Identity & Hope: Race in America.” Moderator Tetiana Anderson and a panel of historians, activists and educators uncover America’s often untold history of racial injustice, the complex relationship between equity and identity, and the status of modern protest movements.
Panelists include activist and educator Zellie Imani; Professor Robby Luckett, Director of the Margaret Walker Center at Jackson State University; and Kenneth B. Morris Jr., descendant of Frederick Douglass and Booker T. Washington, and President of Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives.
