On Sept. 15, 1963, four young girls lost their lives when a bomb exploded at the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Ala. But there was a fifth little girl who survived the Sunday School blast – Sarah Collins Rudolph. Only 12 at the time of the bombing, Collins Rudolph is the lone survivor of the Ku Klux Klan attack that killed her sister, Addie Mae, and three other girls.
