College Students Protest in Orangeburg, S.C.

Carolyn Snell was born and raised in Orangeburg, S.C., where her brother was a student at what was then called South Carolina State College. He was among the students protesting to desegregate a local "whites only" bowling alley. Carolyn recounts the events of that night; her brother was one of the wounded that day.
