The Nature of a Movement

D'Army Bailey, founder of the National Civil Rights Museum, reflects on the impact of March on Washington and those in the movement who ignited battles in the fight for change. He stated, "I think you miss the nature of a movement if you think there's a singular event that you can plan and that, after that event comes off successfully, that you're going to see change; it doesn't happen that way."
