Dr. Laverne Bell-Tolliver
LaVerne Bell-Tolliver grew up in Little Rock, AR, where she integrated Forest Heights Junior High School and remained the only black student in the school for two years. She recalls that on her first day, "one young girl said 'Hi' to me ... Ironically, the young lady never said another word to me until our 40th class reunion."
