Purnell Steen
Purnell Steen, Civil Rights Activist, was on the National Board of the Youth NAACP and led the Boulder, CO, chapter of CORE in 1963. He was sent to Washington, DC, as a "student lobbyist" to attend The First Student Leadership Conference on Religion and Race".
