A Member of the Congress of Racial Equality

Grace Bazmore, former member of the Congress of Racial Equality, was involved with housing and employment projects up north. She traveled to Selma for the March to Montgomery. She recalls, "We traveled segregated for safety. So the whites traveled separately and the blacks traveled separately. When we got there ... it was all centered around the church."
