Herbert P. Douglas
Herbert P. Douglas, Jr., 1948 Olympic Bronze Medalist, discusses his life and his experience in the 1948 Olympics in London. He said, "We thought we'd be one, two, three, and an Australian got in the middle. And as a result, we weren't completely satisfied because we wanted to be the first African American group to win one, two, and three at the Olympic Games. We won one and three."
