The Method of the Civil Rights Movement

Rev. Dr. C.T. Vivian

Civil Rights Leader Rev. C.T. Vivian recalls meeting Dr. King in Nashville and joining the Civil Rights Movement. He reflects on what became the method of the movement, Nonviolence is what this movement was truly all about. And the only reason we hadn’t moved before … because we didnt have a method. Nonviolent direct action under Martin King became the method … that was the movement.
