Taking Pride in the Movement

Pat Patton, a native of Detroit, shares her personal story, including her recollection of the Detroit Walk to Freedom. Her message to viewers is heartfelt: "I would say to anybody if you have it in your heart to become involved and you want to do something to help other people, I would say do it. Do it, and do it passionately, and believe in what youre doing and its going to be alright."
