A Child Learns of Dr. King's Murder

Judson Robinson

Judson Robinson recalls a childhood experience when he learned that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., had been killed. "My father was crying in our kitchen. And I asked him as a little boy, 'Whats wrong Daddy ' and he said 'They just shot Martin Luther King...' That was the first time I ever saw any grown man cry ... I knew that something very significant had occurred."
