Daughter of the Co-Founder of the Coalition for Minority Workers Edwin Campbell shares her recollection of the need to help minority workers and her fathers efforts, along with others, to help address some of the inequities that were happening for minotiry government employees. Here, she shares some of the challenges faced by the Coalition: “They had difficulty raising money; people didn’t want to get involved. You know, people were afraid of this group, and these are black people afraid to be associated with this group, because their careers would be damaged.” Wendy shared her story at the Natioanl Urban League Conference in Cincinnati, OH in July of 2014.
